Well it’s still winter where I am, so I’m still cuddling up indoors as much as possible, wearing blankets and sweaters and socks. To keep me company are my podcasts. In case you missed them, check out these earlier posts – Podcasts I Love 1.0 and Podcasts I Love 2.0. Here are some of my favourites right now.

Letters from a Hopeful Creative
Hosted by Sara Tasker and Jen Carrington, this podcast takes listener questions about becoming an entrepreneur, how to make a living as a creative, and living everyday life as someone without a typical 9-5. It’s helpful to hear that successful creatives like Sara and Jen deal with the same struggles the rest of the world does when it comes to entrepreneurship.
Happier with Gretchen Rubin
This podcast has been on all three of my favourite podcast lists and that is because it never disappoints! The show pacing is excellent, Gretchen and her sister have great chemistry (doi), and there is so much useful information on every episode!
Harry Potter and the Sacred Text
This is another podcast returning from my 2.0 list. Each episode takes a look at a chapter in the Harry Potter series through a different theme (love, jealousy, power, etc) and the hosts (who are hilarious, by the way) try to see what sort of lessons they can pull from the text. It’s really amazing listening to Vanessa and Casper’s discussions unfold into these really deep and sometimes intense topics. Who knew our generation’s favourite book could be so educational!
By the Book
Hilarous. Highly entertaining. Hosts Kristen and Jolenta read a different self-help book every two weeks and follow its rules to the letter. Hilarity (and often some solid self-reflection) ensues.
The Goal Digger Podcast
I don’t even remember how I stumbled upon Jenna Kutcher’s internet empire, but I’m glad I did! She is just crazy inspirational and exudes the honest, down-to-earth confidence that I dream of having. Her podcast is a great resource for aspiring online entrepreneurs. Jenna opens up about what it’s like being a minor celebrity, how her business runs, and has great conversations with other inspirational people.
I am obsessed with the two women behind this podcast – Kathleen Shannon and Emily Thompson. Being Boss is all about just that – being boss! Whether it’s about hiring and firing, content creation, or fueling your boss body by eating healthy, this podcast is going to cover it!
